Daewoo Matiz lost keys
Normal busy monday at the Key machine sorting out jobs that people have put off from the weekend until monday, first job of the day was a lost keys job on on a Daewoo Matiz near penzance, the owners had lost the keys whilst visiting Cornwall farmers for supplies for there horses.
We arrived on site and after checking proof of ownership, proceeded to strip out the boot lock. Once the boot lock had been removed it was then decoded back to the original key number which in turn meant we were then able to cut the mechanical blade.
After the keys were cut and the boot lock with refitted and tested for operation we then moved on to programming of the keys.
As this was a 2000 model (v reg) it required two id13 transponder chips one for each key, chips were inserted and the programming socket was located under the the dash in the passenger side footwell.
Two keys were added to the system, and the car started straight away, much to the delight of the customer!
